Will started what would eventually become Live Event NY back in 2005, at the age of 16, having been inspired to DJ at the suggestion of a close friend, and future business partner. Then called Maximum Watts, the duo worked collaboratively until 2009, when school and service to the Armed Forces disrupted the business.
Around this time, Will furthered his commitment to music, pursuing a degree in music from Syracuse University, and becoming a member of several instrumental and vocal ensembles, as well as the music fraternity Kappa Kappa Psi. There, his focus evolved from music education, to performance, to eventually general music and business. It was then, Will decided he would not pursue a traditional path.
Having been inspired to create something that was his own, Will established Live Event Entertainment, which became a full service event production business, providing services all over the state of New York. In 2019, Live Event Entertainment rebranded to become Live Event NY.
While LENY primarily specializes in formal events and weddings, Will feels the most satisfaction in his company’s charitable contributions and fundraisers, and he remains extremely committed to his community–a fact he attributes to the example his mother set, and something that remains a core belief to Live Event NY to this day.
